Design That Answers To A Builder
Plenty of beautiful drawings die on site because nobody asked whether the beam can go, where the soil pipe runs, or what that curved ceiling actually costs. Our designer sits ten feet from our project managers — every layout is checked against structure, services and budget before you ever see it.
A design engagement typically includes:
- Measured survey and as-built drawing of your existing space
- Two to three layout options with honest trade-off notes
- 3D previews of key rooms so you approve what you will actually get
- Lighting plan: circuits, switching, colour temperature by room
- Material palette with physical samples, not just screen colours
- Carpentry drawings dimensioned for our own workshop
Design-Only Is Fine Too
Building with a relative’s contractor or doing parts yourself? You can engage our design service on its own. You get the same drawings and schedules our own crews build from — documents a contractor can price without guessing, which is exactly what keeps quotes honest.
Fees
Design packages start at RM3,500 for a single-storey layout and run to RM12,000 for a full landed home with carpentry detailing. If you build with Appco, half the design fee is credited against the construction contract.
